If You have Centipede Grass You Don't Want to Miss this Scott's Alert!!

Burroughs Landscaping warns if you or anyone you know has Centipede grass, beware of one of Scotts most popular, newest Bonus S weed-and-feed fertilizer.

Scotts voluntarily removed its newly formulated Bonus S weed-and-feed off the shelves and replaced it with the old formula effective June 2, 2015. Most of the complaints have come from South Carolina and Louisiana, however customers in Texas, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Arkansas, Mississippi and parts of Florida have reported complaints also.

Last year Bonus S was successfully being tested in Southern states and was said to be the company's most popular product in the South. However, beginning in late April, negative product reviews on the company's website from customers in southern states complaining of lawns killed and grass burned by the new Bonus S. The trend was toward Centipede grass when Scott's began investigating. "The formula worked well on St. Augustine and Bermuda grass lawns" ~ CFO Randy Coleman

Scotts mission is "Even One Unhappy Homeowner is One Too Many For Scotts". "The ball is in our court and we are working on the issue," a Scotts representative responded to one complaint. Scotts is offering a full refund to customers who purchased Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed and Feed and Scotts Snap Southern Weed and Feed.

Given the nature of the issue, however, it may take several weeks or longer to address your issue. We are grateful for your patience during this time."
